Christians are called to contend for the faith, but they often interpret this admonition to mean “be contentious.” Sadly, churches continue to split over eternally irrelevant preferences. If we aren’t guarded, our church could be the next casualty. We must contend for the faith; but how? and to what extent? Where are we to hold the line and where are we to yield the ground?
