The Teacher has led us down the dead end path of greed already, but he’ll do so now with added scrutiny, demanding that we consider our footfalls carefully. He challenges each of us to inspect our own lives: is there any “money love” in my life? If so, why? He’ll then put forward the only meaningful alternative–the only path out of the maze of life in a fallen world.
